Family Life Education’s 15 week Spring People Empowering People (PEP) parent leadership training course concluded on Sunday June 27, 2021.

Fourteen mothers received certificates of completion at the graduation ceremony held at the Louise E. Loomis Children’s Wellness Center. Several graduates spoke and expressed their gratitude to the program for its life-changing benefits – improved relationships with family members, new confidence in public speaking, and opportunities to make a difference in their communities.

The PEP Program is a collaboration with UConn Extension and its faculty, Robin Drago-Provencher, UConn PEP Trainer and Facilitator (center photo, left) and Faye Griffiths-Smith, UConn PEP Administrator (center photo, right). PEP is funded, in part, by a grant from the CT State Department of Education Parent Trust Fund. Contact Cassandra Wilke at (860) 231-7744 for more information on the Spring 2022 PEP session.
