Asylum Hill Congregational Church

Asylum Hill Congregational Church (AHCC), an energetic, urban church of approximately 1200 members, has supported Family Life Education since its beginning in 1987. We are grateful to continue our partnership with the AHCC congregation on teen and young parent education programs for poor families in Hartford.

Family Life Education has a long-standing partnership with the Cigna Foundation. Most recently, the Foundation’s Healthier Kids for Our Future, a $25 million five-year global initiative to improve the health and well-being of children, provided Family Life Education with a grant to implement Nutrition Matters, providing nutrition education and a community food pantry to increase access to healthy food.
