Family Center Collaborative
In 2019, Family Life Education and five other Hartford area family centers – Southside, Parker Memorial, El Centro, Rambuh, and Asylum Hill, and The Village (Hartford Family Center Network, see graphic) joined a coalition that includes Catholic Charities, the City of Hartford, Hartford Hospital, The Hispanic Health Council, St. Francis Hospital, and the Urban League.
Each of the six family centers in the Hartford network (pictured above) is now linked to share support and resources under the Village’s leadership. This creates shared goals for significant, long-term improvements in the lives of Hartford’s young children and their families. Through this collaboration, all Hartford families and children will have seamless and broader access to services that each center offers.
“We fully support this new model of networked family support programs with a common vision and a commitment to high standards of program quality,” said Candida Flores, CEO of Family Life Education. “We believe our combined efforts will expand our ability to reach more parents in Hartford and positively impact their lives.”
