Milagros Acosta, a Family Life Education employee who works off-site at the City of Hartford Department of Health and Human Services Grandparents Program successfully completed the rigorous National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s Child Passenger Safety Class with St. Francis Hospital earning a Safe Kids World Wide Certification, making her a Child Passenger Safety Technician!!!! She is the 3rd bilingual technician in the entire state of CT!!
Milagros is required to co-teach over the next six months and then she can teach and lead workshops on her own.
What does this mean? Milagros will offer car seat clinics to parents, grandparents and caregiver’s to make certain that children under the age of 6 are traveling in vehicles properly and safely.
